Plastic Bank

Oceans cover more than 70 percent of the planet’s surface, which is home to 80 percent of the Earth’s plants and animals. Each year, approximately 12.7 million tons of plastic waste escapes into the oceans, equivalent to a truck of garbage dumped per minute.

Taiwan, an island surrounded by seas, has always keep an eye on impact of sea pollution. Starting in 2021, Kinghome is proud to announce that we are standing together with Plastic Bank to build an ethical recycling ecosystem in coastal communities. Plastic Bank is a Social Enterprise stops ocean plastic while improving the lives of those who help collect it. We dedicate to reducing ocean plastic and improving the living condition of people who join the great deeds.

One Tree Planted

Since the onset of the industrial era, forests have declined by 32%. Areas of the forest equates to Greek’s land or half of the UK, rapidly disappears each year. Many people are still optimistic about the 30% of Earth’s surface of forest, but Kinghome has kindly call for attention for deforestation.

Starting in 2021, Kinghome bonded a strong partnership with ONE TREE PLANTED for tree planting. ONE TREE PLANTED is an NPO tree planting charity that has several missions such as environment protection and other derived issue.

By cooperate with ONE TREE PLANTED, Kinghome has taken care of environmental conservation, global climate change, forest fire restoration, women’s employment, food safety… and other issues.

We are glad that volunteers and participants are supporting this particular project however, we are still more than happy to invite you to this caring community.
