Australian eyewear pioneer Le Specs developed for over two years and proudly launched the brand-new collection- Le Sustain in 2020. Le Sustain has successfully revolutionized the concept of sustainability in the eyewear industry including production and packaging.
After eliminating all the plastic, the cardboard packaging must ensure proper protection. Le Sustain has no excess design on the graphic but only a simple black color to keep the minimum style.
Le Sustain sunglasses are grass-based, made out of 23% 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝘂𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀 obtained from meadow grass, and 77% 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘆𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰.
Le Sustain sunglasses are packaged with 𝘇𝗲𝗿𝗼 𝘄𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆 including 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘆𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗷𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲𝘆 𝗽𝗼𝘂𝗰𝗵 and 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘆𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗯𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗯𝗼𝘅 printed with soy-based ink, eliminating all polybags and excess packaging.
Le Sustain selects 100% 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁-𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘆𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘆 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗯𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱 as the only packaging material. After eliminating all the plastic, the cardboard packaging must ensure proper protection. Le Sustain has no excess design on the graphic but only a simple black color to keep the minimum style. Printed with soy-based ink, the packaging can completely fit the brand concept of sustainability.
With the rising demand for sustainability, Le Sustain starts an eco-friendly conversation with consumers from material, manufacturing, and packaging design. They have set a high standard in the eyewear industry.
